Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Khalq Bank has been included in Forbes’ World’s Top Performing Banks 2026 ranking, which lists the best-performing banks worldwide. Forbes reported the inclusion.
The ranking, compiled by Forbes in partnership with Statista, covers 500 banks from 89 countries. Khalq Bank was included in the category of banks with assets ranging from US$3 billion to US$10 billion.
The banks were assessed based on international financial reporting, audit results and key financial indicators over the past three years. The assessment covered profitability, growth rates and earnings quality, capital and funding strength, as well as the quality and efficiency of assets.
Khalq Bank said the global recognition was one of the practical results of reforms to transform and digitalise Uzbekistan’s banking and financial system, which are being implemented in line with international standards.
