Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Ipoteka Bank reported net profit of 2.07 trillion soums for January–September 2026, a 19.2-fold increase from 102.5 billion soums in the same period last year.

The bank earned 683.6 billion soums in net profit in the third quarter, from July to September, up 38.1% year-on-year. Total income for the first nine months rose by 8.9% to 12.3 trillion soums.

The increase in profit coincided with a reduction in credit risks. By the end of September, provisions for potential losses on loans and leasing had fallen by 73.1% year-on-year to 929.2 billion soums.

The reduction in problem assets also improved the bank’s net interest income, which rose from a negative 767.2 billion soums in the third quarter of 2025 to a positive 1.9 trillion soums.

As of 1 September 2026, Ipoteka Bank’s loan portfolio stood at 36.6 trillion soums, up 2.7% year-on-year. The share of non-performing loans (NPLs) declined from 6.1% to 3%.

The bank’s total assets increased by 15.5% to 58.5 trillion soums, while its capital grew by 24.6% to 9.3 trillion soums.
