Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The TURON International Business Club will officially open in Tashkent on 27 October 2026, with 300–400 participants expected, including diplomats, representatives of international organisations and government agencies, major entrepreneurs and foreign delegations, the organisers said.
The opening programme will include speeches by ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions on the role of private business platforms in promoting international cooperation. Memorandums of cooperation are also expected to be signed between TURON and two or three foreign business associations and investment companies.
The club was established under the Association of National Economic Cooperation of Uzbekistan (UzMIHU). It aims to connect Uzbek and foreign entrepreneurs, arrange meetings between potential business partners, and support investment and export projects.
“We built TURON around one simple model: from introduction to deal. A member joins the club, gains access to the right business network, attends a bilateral meeting, visits a potential partner’s enterprise — and this leads to a partnership, investment or export contract,” said Ilhom Begimkulov, president of the TURON International Business Club.
The club brings together entrepreneurs from construction, manufacturing, agriculture, information technology, finance, logistics, tourism and textiles. Export development and investment are also among its main areas of focus.
An interactive map of TURON’s international business connections will be presented at the opening ceremony. It will feature links with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, China, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Poland and other countries.
The club’s practical activities will include business visits to enterprises, bilateral meetings between Uzbek and foreign entrepreneurs, presentations of investment projects and assistance to exporters seeking access to international markets.
The launch comes as Uzbekistan implements government measures to attract foreign direct investment.
Presidential Decree No. UP-97 of 23 June 2025 provides for additional incentives to encourage such investment. According to information from the organisers, it introduces tax holidays of up to seven years for investors committing more than US$10 million.
The organisers also cited Resolution No. PP-226 of 18 July 2025, which concerns the implementation of agreements reached by the Foreign Investors Council under the President of Uzbekistan.
