Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The specialised insurance track INSUR Asia will be held in Tashkent on 19 November 2026 as part of the international financial forum FINNEXT Asia 2026. Participants will discuss the digital transformation of the insurance market, the use of artificial intelligence and the development of new sales channels in Russia and Central Asian countries.

The central theme of the event will be the future of the Eurasian insurance industry towards 2030. The agenda will cover the development of cross-border digital infrastructure, the transition to an AI-native insurance model and the creation of partnership ecosystems.

The INSUR Asia programme will feature three thematic sessions.

The first, “InsurTech Eurasia 2030: Digital Infrastructure for a New Insurance Market,” will focus on the transformation of business models driven by data and national payment systems. Participants will examine opportunities for scaling technologies across borders, regulatory sandboxes, the integration of government databases through APIs, including cadastral systems and electronic insurance policies, and the development of digital infrastructure for Islamic insurance, or takaful.

The second session, “From Excel to AI: A Roadmap for Insurers in Emerging Markets,” will focus on the practical adoption of technology. Topics will include the use of algorithms and computer vision in underwriting and remote claims settlement, generative AI to combat fraud, satellite data in agricultural insurance, and assessments of the economic efficiency of technological solutions.

The third session, “Embedded, LifeTech and Digital Sales: Where Will Customers Buy Insurance Tomorrow?” will address the development of partnership-based sales channels and digital services. Discussions are expected to cover the integration of insurance products into banking and e-commerce platforms, API-based connectivity, the development of telemedicine and preventive services, and the transformation of agency networks into hybrid advisory models.

The organisers said the forum would focus on practical case studies, regulatory initiatives and the development of technological partnerships between markets.

The announced speakers include Umid Khudoyberdiev, CEO of Hayot Invest Insurance; Vladimir Khursan, co-founder of Tajikistan’s BIMA Insurance; Saidolim Nasretdinov, adviser to the CEO of JSC KЕIS Uzbekinvest and director of the Insurance School and Academy; Alexey Maslov, adviser to HUMO; Maksim Shaporin, head of product development at Alfa Invest Insurance Company; and Nikolay Kudryakov, CEO of PARI Insurance Company.
