Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov received the credentials of newly appointed Swedish Ambassador to Uzbekistan Martin Rosen on 10 September.

During the meeting, the sides noted a significant intensification of relations between Uzbekistan and Sweden in recent years.

Particular attention was paid to prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as developing direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries.

Saidov wished Rosen success in his new and important diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

The sides confirmed their readiness to work together to further develop bilateral relations.
