Uzbek dancing, singing art presented in Russia

A concert hall of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow successfully hosted a presentation of national dance and singing art. The event was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence.
This opened large foreign tour of the Uzbek artists and national are stars. The presentation is aimed at familiarizing foreign partners with rich traditions and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan. The event was carried out by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in cooperation with Fund Forum.
Representatives of Foreign Affairs Ministry, political, public and business circles, parliament members, ministries and departments, as well as journalists participated at the event. Head of the diplomatic missions, accredited in Moscow, also attended the event.
Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia Ziyadulla Polatkhodjaev said that each such event allows to know more about each other – history, life, culture, traditions, economy and others.
Folk-ethnic ensemble Sirdaryo Navolari (Sirdarya Melodies) participated at the concert. The ensemble includes masters in dancing and singing.
Ziyadulla Polatkhodjaev underlined that the ensemble will start a month-long tour to European Union and will present their art in Madrid, Rome, Berlin, London, Geneva and other cities.
