Polish defense minister to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of National Defense of Poland Tomasz Siemoniak will paid a working visit to Uzbekistan on 15-17 March 2012, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

During the visit, the Polish delegation is planning to hold the Uzbek-Polish delegation on bilateral cooperation and problems, representing mutual interest.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, trade turnover between two states made up US$104.9 million in 2011 against US$105 million in 2010. Currently, there are 20 enterprises in Uzbekistan with Polish capital.
