Photo exhibition of Vladimir Churov starts in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A photo exhibition “Uzbekistan 2014” of the chairperson of the Central Election Commission of Russia Vladimir Churov started at the Russian Center for science and culture in Tashkent on 28 March 2015. The photos of the exhibition were made in December 2014, when Churov arrived in Uzbekistan to observe parliamentary elections.

The chairperson of the Central Election Commission of Russia Vladimir Churov this time arrived in Uzbekistan to observe presidential elections in the country.

Head of the Russian Center for science and culture in Tashkent Viktor Shulika noted that the photo exhibition will contribute to strengthen friendship and cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan.

Churov expressed gratitude to all bodies, which helped to organize the exhibition. He presented photos to the visitors and briefed them on history of the images.

The exhibition presented over 120 images, which were made in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara.

The exhibition of Vladimir Churov was also presented at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia in February 2015.
