Uzbekistan to Open National Pavilion in Saudi Arabia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan will present a national pavilion at Boulevard World, one of the largest cultural and entertainment complexes in Saudi Arabia, under a new cooperation agreement signed during the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
The memorandum of cooperation was signed between Gayané Umerova, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, and Mohammad Abdullah Abunayyan, Chairman of the Saudi-Uzbek Business Council.
The document provides for the joint implementation of a project to create a national pavilion of Uzbekistan at Boulevard World. The venue is among the largest cultural and entertainment complexes in Saudi Arabia.
The national pavilion is expected to serve as a long-term platform for promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism, cultural, and investment potential. The project will introduce international audiences to the country’s historical heritage, traditions, crafts, and modern achievements.
The signing of the memorandum marks another step in strengthening Uzbek–Saudi cooperation and expanding cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries. The project is also expected to enhance Uzbekistan’s international visibility and attract additional tourist flows.
According to experts, the pavilion’s location in Boulevard World will provide new opportunities to showcase Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage to millions of visitors to one of the region’s largest entertainment and tourism destinations in the Middle East.
