Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Restoration of the Mandalaki House, an architectural monument in Kokand, Fergana Region, is scheduled to begin in 2027, with the work to be funded from the national budget, the Cultural Heritage Agency reported.

Built in 1903, the building is among the sites reflecting Uzbekistan’s historical and architectural heritage.

Mandalaki House was included in the National List of Immovable Tangible Cultural Heritage Sites under Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 846 dated 4 October 2019.

The property is state-owned and assigned to the Fergana Regional Cultural Heritage Department under the right of operational management.

According to the Cultural Heritage Agency, the restoration aims to preserve the building’s historical architectural appearance, ensure its structural stability and pass its historical value on to future generations.

The agency also urged the public not to trust unfounded reports circulating online.
