Number of Foreign-Invested Enterprises in Uzbekistan Surpasses 16,000

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — According to data from the National Statistics Committee, as of 1 July 2025, there are 16,685 enterprises with foreign investment registered in Uzbekistan.

Of these, 4,124 are joint ventures, while 12,561 are fully foreign-owned companies.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of such enterprises has increased by 20.2 percent, reflecting a stable and growing interest from international investors in the Uzbek market.

China leads in the number of foreign-invested enterprises with 4,192 companies, followed by Russia (3,098), Türkiye (2,007), Kazakhstan (1,157), South Korea (687), Afghanistan (680), the United Arab Emirates (374), India (333), and the United States (321).
