Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan has launched the production of audio systems under a domestic brand, including microphones, speakers, and amplifiers with high added value.
This became possible due to the establishment of production by the foreign company DHMT GLOBAL at the Chirchik Chemical-Industrial Technopark.
DHMT GLOBAL, a resident of the technopark since December 2024, was founded based on the South Korean company DH MEDIA TECH. It specializes in producing advanced audio systems and amplifiers that replace imported products in Uzbekistan.
It is important to note that DH MEDIA TECH, founded in 1994, produces over ten different products under the Komt brand. These include microphones, speakers, amplifiers, audio mixers, conference systems, equalizers, DJ and recording equipment, as well as radio systems and other devices.
As part of this project, US$2 million in direct foreign investments were allocated, creating 30 new jobs.
