Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical cluster hosted an official ceremony to present a certificate to its new participant — Nurin Pharma (Pharmatec Pakistan).
The certificate confirming the company’s participation in the innovative scientific and production pharmaceutical cluster was handed over by Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry. Nurin Pharma will implement a project to build a modern pharmaceutical plant on a 2.5-hectare site within the cluster.
The plant will specialize in the production of medicines for the treatment of high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and various infections.
The investment cost of the project is estimated at approximately US$20 million. Its implementation will be carried out in stages in line with GMP standards. The project also envisions the creation of 145 new jobs.
