New director-general of Uzstandart appointed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Interim President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev appointed new director-general of the Uzbek Agency for standardization, metrology and certification (Uzstandart).

On 14 October, Shavkat Mirziyayev signed the resolution on appointment of new director-general of Uzstandart.

According to the resolution, Aktam Haitov has been appointed as the director-general of the Uzbek Agency for standardization, metrology and certification.

At the post of director-general of Uzstandard, Haitov replaced Abdusalam Kurbanov, who headed the organization since June 2012.
