Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekistan's Andijan Region, led by Hokim Shukhratbek Abdurakhmonov, visited the Belarusian wood-processing company KimaBel to learn about its production processes and experience in operating a full-cycle timber processing business.
Founded in 2013, KimaBel is among the leading companies in Belarus's wood-processing industry. The company has received a number of certificates and awards recognising the quality of its products.
The company's production facility, located near Polotsk, is equipped with modern machinery. It carries out the full timber processing cycle, from sawing roundwood to producing timber and sawn wood products, drying, sorting and processing secondary raw materials.
Most of the company's output is exported. According to KimaBel, its operations are based on maintaining high product quality, meeting customer needs and developing long-term partnerships.
The Andijan Region delegation's visit formed part of efforts to study international experience and explore opportunities for cooperation in the wood-processing industry.
