The main aim of the seminar will be directed at discussing improvement of national quality infrastructure in Uzbekistan (standardization, certification testing, metrology and accreditation) for stimulating innovative development, technological modernization and export competitiveness, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan said.
The seminar will gather representatives of state bodies, Uzstandards, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, businesses, research institutes, organization on protecting customers and donors.
Several foreign specialists, including representatives of GTZ and PTB (both Germany), confirmed their participation. Participants will consider advanced experience in creation of standardization system, economic effect for industry and improving competitiveness in transfer from mandatory verification to metrology system, oriented to quality.
