Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent Region and China’s Feihe Group discussed prospects for joint projects in dairy production and attracting investment to the region. The discussions took place during a meeting between Tashkent Region Governor Zoir Mirzaev and company representatives.

The sides focused on milk production and deep processing, the creation of modern production facilities, the introduction of innovative livestock technologies and the production of high-quality goods.

Feihe Group specializes in the production of powdered dairy products, including powdered infant formula.

The company operates a production cycle covering the stages from developing its raw material base to producing finished goods.

The company currently operates 14 modern plants and 15 farms. Its production base includes more than 150,000 head of cattle and 67,000 hectares of specialized agricultural land.

The meeting also examined opportunities to apply Feihe Group’s production experience and technological solutions in Tashkent Region, develop joint projects and expand investment cooperation.

Talks on attracting advanced technologies and foreign investment to the region’s economy are continuing.
