Modern boxing complex opens in Gulistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new modern boxing complex has opened in the city of Gulistan in Uzbekistan’s Syrdarya region, built in accordance with a presidential resolution.

The new sports facility is equipped with everything necessary for athlete training and preparation.

The complex includes a spacious training hall, changing rooms, shower facilities, a medical office, coaches’ offices and other supporting premises. It is also fully equipped with modern sporting equipment.

According to officials, the facility will serve as a platform for promoting boxing among young people and training promising athletes. The complex can accommodate around 120 young boxers at the same time.

The opening of the new sports facility is aimed at further developing the region’s sports infrastructure, promoting a healthy lifestyle and creating conditions for nurturing athletes capable of representing Uzbekistan at international competitions.

Following the opening ceremony, young athletes were presented with sports uniforms and the necessary equipment.
