Moderate earthquake shakes Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A moderate earthquake with the epicenter in Kyrgyzstan was felt in Uzbekistan at 05:16 on 21 November 2015.

According to the seismic station “Tashkent”, power of underground tremors in Tashkent was 2 points and in Namangan – 3 points.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in the territory of Kyrgyzstan at the distance of 210 km to east from Tashkent. The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.1.

It is worth to mention that this is the third earthquake in Kyrgyzstan for last four days, which were felt in Uzbekistan. On 17 November and 20 November, population of Uzbekistan felt underground tremors.
