Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — An Uzbek delegation led by Tamila Aliyeva, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Healthcare Reform, and Health Minister Eldor Adilov held a series of high-level meetings during a working visit to Russia.
The delegation met with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Deputy Prime Ministers Alexey Overchuk and Dmitry Grigorenko, and First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Alexey Gromov.
The parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in healthcare, the digitalization of the medical sector and advanced training for Uzbek specialists at leading Russian specialized and scientific institutions.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Uzbek delegation expressed its appreciation to the Government of the Russian Federation for organizing the visit, the warm reception and the discussions, noting that the agreements reached would contribute to the further development of bilateral cooperation in healthcare.
