Fire Breaks Out on Roof of Five-Story Apartment in Andijan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A fire broke out on the roof of a five-story residential building on Baburshokh Street in the Hamdustlik mahalla of Andijan on the night of 14 July 2026, adjacent to the building of the Department of Emergency Situations of the Andijan Region.

According to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the report of the fire was received through the 112 emergency call system at 01:43. Fire and rescue units promptly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire in the shortest possible time.

Based on preliminary information, no one was injured as a result of the fire.

Specialists are currently determining the cause of the fire and the amount of material damage caused.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations also noted that the building of the Department of Emergency Situations of the Andijan Region was not damaged in the incident.
