Mirziyoyev reshuffles Ministry of Culture leadership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed decrees on personnel changes within the leadership of the Ministry of Culture.

According to the documents, Nodirbek Sayfullaev has been appointed First Deputy Minister of Culture. Jahongir Ahmedov has taken office as First Deputy Minister of Culture - Director of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In addition, Odiljon Abdukahorov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Culture. Sanjar Bobojonov has also become Deputy Minister of Culture, and has been relieved of his post as Chief Inspector of the unit of the representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for culture.

In connection with their transfer to other work, Bahodir Ahmedov and Avazkhon Tadjikhanov have been relieved of their duties as First Deputy Ministers of Culture. Murodjon Madjidov and Yusufjon Usmonov have also been relieved of their duties as Deputy Ministers of Culture.
