Spain Beat Belgium to Reach World Cup Semi-finals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Spain advanced to the FIFA World Cup semi-finals after defeating Belgium 2-1 in their quarter-final match in Inglewood, California, United States.

Spain took the lead in the 30th minute through Fabián Ruiz. Belgium equalised shortly before half-time when Charles De Ketelaere scored in the 41st minute.

Mikel Merino scored the winning goal in the 88th minute to send Spain into the next stage of the tournament.

Spain will face France in the World Cup semi-finals on 14 July.
