Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A Nexia-2 driver in Kashkadarya region has been sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest after repeatedly ignoring traffic police demands to stop, colliding with a patrol car and attempting to flee.

The incident occurred during a night shift by traffic police officers in Chirakchi district.

Officers initially stopped the vehicle to check its documents, but the driver failed to comply and continued driving. The circumstances of the incident were established during operational measures.

At the next intersection, another traffic police officer also repeatedly ordered the driver to stop. After another refusal, a patrol crew attempted to block the vehicle. The driver then collided with the patrol car and again tried to flee.

Law enforcement officers identified and detained the driver. He explained his actions by saying that he did not have the required documents.

According to the driver, he became afraid of the traffic police officers and therefore continued driving, including entering the opposite lane.

The Chirakchi District Court reviewed the case and sentenced the driver to 15 days of administrative arrest.
