Japan, Uzbekistan to discuss investment in resources sector

In particular, Japan is seeking an agreement that would protect Japanese companies investing in the resources sector there, said the official.

Japan, which possesses almost no natural resources, has been enhancing relationships with resource-rich countries over the past two years. This meeting is part of such efforts, said the official.
