Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology Feruza Khamidova met with representatives of British company AREMCA on 15 September to discuss cooperation prospects and the introduction of modern technologies in geology and mining, the Uzbek Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology said.
During the meeting, AREMCA representatives presented the company's projects being implemented in Central Asian countries. Particular attention was paid to the potential use of artificial intelligence to analyze geological data, identify prospective areas and improve the efficiency of mining operations.
Ministry representatives outlined the procedure for obtaining subsoil use rights in Uzbekistan through auctions, the relevant online systems and new legislative provisions.
The sides also exchanged views on prospects for further cooperation, the introduction of advanced technologies and the training of qualified specialists.
