Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region, led by regional governor Zoir Mirzaev, discussed potential industrial projects with Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd. during a working visit to China, the press service of the Tashkent regional administration said.
On the first day of the visit, representatives of the region met with the Chinese company’s management in Beijing. Sinoma International Engineering specialises in construction materials manufacturing and industrial engineering.
The sides discussed the creation of modern production facilities in Tashkent region, development of the construction materials industry, technological modernisation of industrial enterprises and the introduction of advanced engineering solutions.
Sinoma International Engineering implements comprehensive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects for the cement and mining industries. The company also produces high-tech equipment for production lines, including rotary kilns and crushers.
The company’s activities now extend beyond traditional industrial sectors. Sinoma International Engineering is also developing projects in renewable energy, environmental protection, digital technologies and artificial intelligence-based management systems.
The company has implemented more than 1,000 projects in more than 70 countries.
In 2025, Sinoma International Engineering reported revenue of US$73.27 billion, net profit of US$4.23 billion and total assets of US$91.65 billion.
Following the talks, the Tashkent region delegation reviewed the Chinese company’s operations, engineering developments, production technologies and high-tech equipment, as well as its experience in implementing modern industrial projects.
The sides agreed to jointly study projects in construction materials production, industrial engineering, advanced technologies and prospective manufacturing, taking into account Tashkent region’s industrial potential and investment opportunities.
The parties intend to move selected projects to the practical implementation stage.
