Uzbekistan Textile Output Reaches 61.1 Trillion Soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced textile products worth 61.1 trillion soums in January-July 2026, an increase of 17.5% from the same period a year earlier, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Ferghana region recorded the highest volume of textile production during the seven-month period, at 8 trillion soums. Andijan region ranked second with 6.3 trillion soums, followed by Kashkadarya region with 6 trillion soums.
In Khorezm region, large enterprises produced textile products worth 5.6 trillion soums. The figure reached 5.2 trillion soums in Namangan region and 4.9 trillion soums in Bukhara region.
Textile production in Samarkand region amounted to 4.6 trillion soums, while Surkhandarya region and the city of Tashkent each recorded 4 trillion soums. Tashkent region produced 3.8 trillion soums worth of textile products.
In Jizzakh region, textile production amounted to 2.9 trillion soums, while the Republic of Karakalpakstan recorded 2.8 trillion soums.
