Uzbekistan, Xi’an Expand Business Cooperation Ties
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Xi’an’s Committee for the Promotion of International Trade in China discussed expanding business cooperation and promoting Uzbek products on the Chinese market. The meeting was held as part of exhibitions of Chinese brands and “Products of Silk Road Countries” in Tashkent.
The talks were attended by Dai Xiangsheng, chairman of the Chinese committee, and Peng Junjun, its secretary-general. Uzbekistan was represented by Chamber of Commerce and Industry advisers Alisher Shaikhov and Jamil Maksudi, as well as Yorqin Malikov, chairman of the Exporters Association.
One of the key issues was expanding opportunities for Uzbek companies to enter the Chinese market. The sides discussed creating new opportunities for exporting companies and developing direct business contacts between entrepreneurs from the two countries.
The participants also highlighted the importance of holding regular B2B meetings, business missions and joint business events. They noted that such formats help strengthen practical cooperation between business representatives from Uzbekistan and China.
Following the talks, the sides confirmed their readiness to continue working on promoting mutually beneficial projects, attracting new business partners and expanding market opportunities for entrepreneurs in both countries.
