Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with executives from Chinese companies CAMCE, China Energy and Sinoma Energy on 16 October on the sidelines of a meeting of the Investors Council in the fuel and energy sector.
The participants discussed progress on joint initiatives in renewable energy, electricity storage systems, waste processing and water supply development.
The talks also saw support for proposals by the Chinese companies to establish a logistics centre in Andijan Region, implement agrivoltaics projects combining agricultural production with solar power generation, and expand cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
