French FM holds talks at Uzbekistan’s MFA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Mr. Laurent Fabius has been received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 2 March 2013, the press service of the Uzbek ministry said.

The sides exchanged opinion on current affairs and perspectives of the Uzbek-French relations, cooperation in politics, trade-economic and other spheres, which have significant potential for expansion of mutual interaction.

The sides also considered issues of regional security.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan François Gauthier attended the talks.
