First Ladies of Uzbekistan and Germany Visit Inclusive Hub

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During the official visit of German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier to Uzbekistan, First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziroat Mirziyoyeva met with First Lady of Germany Elke Büdenbender. Following their meeting, the spouses of the two heads of state visited the International Inclusive Hub at the National Agency for Social Protection.

During the visit, guests were presented with the hub's work in developing inclusive vocational education, introducing modern educational technologies, and supporting young people — including those with disabilities — in acquiring sought-after skills and professions.

The first ladies toured the institution's training workshops and ongoing projects, and spoke with students.

According to the organisers of the visit, Elke Büdenbender spoke highly of the work being carried out in Uzbekistan to develop an inclusive society, improve the vocational education system, and expand opportunities for young people.
