Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Kazakhstan’s low-cost airline FlyArystan has launched direct flights on the Atyrau–Tashkent–Atyrau route, expanding its international network and enhancing transportation connectivity between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The inaugural flight landed at Tashkent International Airport on 15 July at 13:50 and was welcomed with a ceremonial water salute, in line with aviation tradition. A total of 139 passengers were on board.

According to FlyArystan President Richard Ledger, the launch of this new route marks an important step in strengthening bilateral ties:

"This direct service provides access to Uzbekistan from western Kazakhstan and complements our existing Astana–Tashkent route. We see it as a move toward further development of business, cultural, and tourism relations between our countries."

Flights on the route will operate in July and August on Thursdays and Sundays, and in September and October on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The flight time is 2 hours and 20 minutes. The service is operated with modern Airbus A320 aircraft.

FlyArystan, Kazakhstan’s first low-cost airline, was established in 2019. It is a subsidiary of the Air Astana Group and is actively expanding its budget air travel offerings both domestically and internationally.
