Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ferghana region has signed memorandums of cooperation with four South Korean companies to implement prospective projects in the region. The agreements were reached during a working visit by a regional delegation to the Republic of Korea, the Ferghana regional administration said.
Ferghana region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov held talks with executives from Samyoung Material Inspection Technology Co., Ltd, Korea Health Certification Association, Chalgomu Key Board Co., Ltd and KINGDOM GLOBAL Co., Ltd.
The meetings covered projects involving the establishment of cosmetics production in Ferghana region, as well as the training and professional development of specialists in the sector.
Other initiatives discussed included the production of rubber products, maintenance of modern technologies and equipment, and the construction of a golf course.
Representatives of the Korean companies outlined their areas of activity, manufacturing experience and technological capabilities before presenting project proposals.
Bozorov supported the proposed initiatives and said Korean partners would receive the necessary organisational and practical assistance to implement the projects in Ferghana region.
Following the talks, the sides signed memorandums of cooperation. The documents provide for further engagement in the identified areas and joint work on prospective projects.
