Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Trade Development Company will reimburse local industrial enterprises for the cost of advertising their products in domestic media, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan has reported.

The annual compensation will amount to up to 250 million soums per company. Funding will be provided by the Trade Promotion Fund.

The programme is intended to support local manufacturers and promote their products on the domestic market. The reimbursement rate depends on a company’s business sustainability rating. Enterprises rated AAA will receive compensation for 100% of eligible expenses, while the rates for AA, A, BBB, BB and B-rated companies will be 90%, 80%, 70%, 60% and 50%, respectively.

Newly established enterprises operating for no more than six months, as well as companies located in districts classified in categories four and five, will receive full reimbursement regardless of their sustainability rating.

Eligible applicants must have a sustainability rating ranging from AAA to B and have sold products worth at least 2 billion soums over the preceding 12 months. Their outstanding tax liabilities must not exceed 100,000 soums.

Companies must also be members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and submit a business plan.

Eligible expenses include television and radio commercials and appearances on air, advertisements in newspapers and magazines, online advertising on social media, marketplaces and mobile applications, and outdoor advertising on billboards.

Applications must include copies of the relevant contract, invoice and/or service acceptance certificate, along with a payment order confirmed by the bank. Applicants must also provide evidence that the advertising was published or broadcast, such as copies of publications, links, photographs or video recordings.

Applications will be reviewed within five working days. Decisions will be based on an assessment by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Applications can be submitted through the subsidiya.epauzb.uz portal. Further information is available by calling +998 71 207-04-06.
