Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ferghana region has signed memorandums of cooperation with three South Korean companies — HANUL Co., Ltd, D&B CO., LTD and HSG Group — during a working visit to the Republic of Korea by Ferghana region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, the regional administration said.

During the visit, Bozorov held talks with company executives Han Yeong-don, Shin Yeong-hee and Kwon Gyeong-min. The sides discussed opportunities to implement new projects in Ferghana region across several manufacturing sectors.

The discussions covered the production of wet wipes and other hygiene products, bakery and confectionery manufacturing, and the development of the textile industry.

Representatives of the Korean businesses presented information about their companies, manufacturing experience and the modern technologies they use. They also outlined projects that could be implemented in Ferghana region as part of further cooperation.

Bozorov described the proposed initiatives as promising and stressed the need to comprehensively assess the possibilities for their implementation in the region. He also invited company representatives to visit Ferghana to continue joint work.

Following the talks with HANUL Co., Ltd, D&B CO., LTD and HSG Group, the sides signed memorandums of cooperation.
