Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Anh Tuan Tran, founder of Vietnamese investment group ROX Group, on 11 September, the presidential press service said.
The sides discussed prospects for developing mutually beneficial cooperation and implementing investment projects involving the company in Uzbekistan.
Founded in 1996, ROX Group is one of Vietnam's leading diversified investment groups. The company operates in real estate, energy, banking, hospitality and services.
Priority areas of cooperation in Uzbekistan were identified as the development of modern urban and industrial infrastructure, renewable energy, geology, the financial sector and tourism.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to accelerate the implementation of ongoing and new projects involving ROX Group on the basis of a roadmap.
