Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Navoi International Airport has signed a strategic alliance agreement with Hong Kong-based Harvest Epoch Strategic Investment Limited to develop international logistics and new cargo transportation projects.

The agreement was signed on 9 September in Hong Kong during the Belt and Road international conference, with the participation of an Uzbek government delegation.

The document was concluded between Navoi International Airport LLC and Harvest Epoch Strategic Investment Limited. It provides for the implementation of objectives set out in Uzbek President's Resolution No. PP-50, dated 9 February 2026, “On measures to improve the efficiency of Navoi International Airport.”

One of the alliance's key objectives will be to further strengthen Navoi Airport's role in the international transport and logistics system and implement new strategic projects.

The cooperation plans to increase international cargo flows and develop new logistics routes and services. These include e-commerce and express delivery, cold chain logistics, cargo transportation for the automotive industry, the shipment of heavy and oversized goods, multimodal transportation, and the development of rail-air connectivity.

The main goal is to establish a strategic multimodal logistics hub at Navoi International Airport linking Europe, South Asia and China.

The development of these areas is expected to attract new cargo flows and logistics operators, expand airline presence and create additional opportunities for the airport's growth.
