Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A meeting was held in Istanbul, Turkey, involving representatives from Mastercard and the Cybersecurity Center "CERT-CBU" of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, specialists discussed issues related to ensuring cybersecurity in payment systems and preventing fraud associated with bank cards.
In addition, Mastercard representatives provided information on modern cyber threats emerging internationally in connection with the growing use of cashless payments.
As a result of the event, the parties agreed to cooperate in staff training, cybersecurity assurance, and the development of effective solutions to counter modern risks and prevent suspicious (fraud) transactions.
