Earthquake with epicenter in Yangiyul shakes Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- An earthquake with the epicenter in Yangiyul was felt in Tashkent city at 04:02 on Saturday, 9 January 2016.

According to the Tashkent seismic station, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 57 km from Tashkent in Yangiyul (Tashkent region). The magnitude of the tremors in the epicenter was 3.6.

The power of tremors in the Uzbek capital was 3 points, the Tashkent seismic station said.
