Earthquake in Afghanistan shakes Uzbekistan

An earthquake with epicenter in Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan was registered in Tashkent at 01:06 on Sunday, 21 February 2016.
According to the data of the European-Mediterranean Seismology Center, the magnitude at the epicenter was 5.5.
The epicenter was located about 500 km away from Tashkent in Hindu Kush mountains (Afghanistan).
Power of underground tremors in Tashkent was 2-3 points, Tashkent seismic station said. At the same time, power of tremors in Surkhandarya region was 3 points and Navoi – 2 points.
