COVID-19: Tashkent is the leader in number of new cases

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- As of 23 January 2022, the number of registered cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan reached 215,063 (+1,296).

New cases were registered:

- 63 people in the Republic of Karakalpakstan,

-55 people in Andijan region,

-70 people in Bukhara region,

-41 people in Jizzakh region,

-30 people in Kashkadarya region,

-20 people in Navoi region,

- 57 people in Namangan region,

- 35 people in Samarkand region,

-23 people in Syrdarya region,

-41 people in Surkhandarya region,

-78 people in Ferghana region,

- 38 people in Khorezm region,

-152 people in Tashkent region,

- 493 people in Tashkent

In Tashkent, 212 patients were cured, a total of 204,217 (+942) people recovered from the disease, the recovery rate is 95%.

Also, 2 patients with coronavirus died, the number of deaths from the disease amounted to 1542 people. In addition, 172 people were diagnosed with pneumonia yesterday.
