Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty clarifies circumstances of the incident

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 25 April 2019, the media reported that Kazakh police detained a group of people in Atyrau city, who abducted a citizen of Uzbekistan and extorted 300,000 tenges from his friend, also citizen of Uzbekistan.

The Consular and Legal Department reports that in this situation, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty is taking the necessary steps to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
