Boxers of Uzbekistan win 8 medals of various denominations in Baku

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – An international boxing tournament “The Great Silk Road”, in which athletes from more than 10 countries competed, ended in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The team of Uzbekistan won 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze and became the second in the team event. Azerbaijan won the first place, and Kazakhstan is the top three of the strongest.

-49 kg: Nodirjon Mirzaakhmedov vs Shalkar Ayhinbay (Kazakhstan) 2:3

-60 kg: Shukurjon Rakhimov vs Muhammad Hamut (Morocco) 0:5

-69 kg: Ikboljon Kholdorov vs Mavlon Oskenbek (Kazakhstan) 5:0

-91 kg: Madiyar Saidrahimov vs Rakhil Mammadali (Azerbaijan) 5:0

+91 kg: Obidjon Tokhirov vs Danila Semenov (Kazakhstan) 5:0

Thus, Ikboljon Kholdorov, Madiyar Saidrahimov and Obidjon Tokhirov won gold medals. Nodirjon Mirzaahmedov and Shukurjon Rakhimov became silver medalists, and Jasurbek Latipov, Hasanboy Dusmatov and Khurshid Abdullayev won bronze medals.
