Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Behzod Musaev, the former head of Uzbekistan’s Migration Agency, has been appointed chairman of the board of the Vatandoshlar public foundation.
Odiljon Sattorov, who had led the foundation since September 2021, has been appointed deputy chairman of the board. The organisation announced the changes on its official website.
The foundation’s leadership page lists Behzod Anvarovich Musaev as chairman of the board and Sattorov as his deputy.
Established in 2021, the Vatandoshlar Foundation works to strengthen ties between Uzbekistan and its compatriots living abroad. It supports them and the public organisations they have established.
The foundation also seeks to draw on the professional expertise and intellectual potential of Uzbek compatriots working in various fields to support the country’s development.
On 3 September 2026, Musaev left his post as director of the Migration Agency by presidential decision following his transfer to another position. He had been appointed head of the agency in September 2024.
