Alisher Yusupov to compete directly for bronze medal

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – Judoka Alisher Yusupov from Uzbekistan will compete for the bronze medal in the over 100 kg weight category.

Guram Tushishvili (Georgia), who lost in the quarterfinals, has been disqualified, allowing Yusupov to compete directly for the bronze medal.

On his path to the medal, our judoka will face the loser of the match between Tatsuru Saito (Japan) and Kim Min-jong (South Korea).
