Tashkent to Host Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The national final of the Red Bull Dance Your Style international street dance championship will take place on 16 August 2026 at 19:00 on the grounds of the Alisher Navoi State Academic Grand Theatre in Tashkent with the support of Uzbekistan Creative Park, according to event organizers. The winner of the competition will represent Uzbekistan at the world final in Switzerland.

Sixteen of the country's top dancers will compete in the national final, determined by qualifiers scheduled for 14 August 2026 in Tashkent. Participant registration is open on the project's official website. Spectator admission is free, and the event is restricted to attendees aged 18 and older.

Red Bull Dance Your Style features a one-on-one battle format bringing together dancers from various street dance styles, including hip-hop, popping, krump, and voguing. A key aspect of the competition is the absence of pre-planned routines, with participants improvising to randomly selected music tracks.

Another key feature of the championship is the absence of a professional jury. The winner of each battle is determined by the audience, who vote using red and blue cards to decide who advances and becomes the national champion.

The Red Bull Dance Your Style championship has been held since 2019, bringing together dance communities worldwide. In 2026, competitions are taking place in 57 countries, including Uzbekistan, which is hosting the national final for the second consecutive year.

Organizers noted that the event will serve not only as a competition for the country's top dancers, but also as a major spectacle where spectators can support participants and determine who will represent Uzbekistan on the world stage.
