A solar photovoltaic station is being built at the Syrdarya Thermal Power Plant

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Another solar photovoltaic station with a capacity of 520 kW is being built at the Syrdarya Thermal Power Plant. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

After the station is put into operation, it is expected to generate 760 thousand kWh of electricity per year.

As a result, 81 thousand cubic meters of natural gas will be saved.

The power plant operates efficiently with a 1.3 MW green unit. As a result of the commissioning of new panels, the total capacity of solar photovoltaic installations will reach up to 1.8 MW.
