Mirziyoyev Visits Nurafshon Makhsus Tekhnika Plant

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Nurafshon Makhsus Tekhnika enterprise in Nurafshan during his trip to the city. The company specialises in manufacturing special-purpose vehicles and military equipment.

The enterprise was established on a 25.8-hectare site as part of a US$50 million investment project.

Operating under the KRANTAS brand, the company manufactures special-purpose vehicles, military equipment and a range of specialised machinery. More than 300 qualified specialists are employed at the facility.

During the visit, officials said the enterprise is equipped with machinery and technologies supplied from the United States, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Russia, China and Türkiye. Since the start of operations, it has produced about 2,500 tonnes of steel structures, more than 300 vehicle bodies, over 200 chassis and 20 tractors. Last year, it supplied machinery and equipment worth 275 billion soums to customers.

The enterprise is also expanding production of import-substituting products. As part of its further development, it plans to build a new plant on a 10-hectare site in Tashkent's Yangihayot district. The project is expected to localise production worth between US$15 million and US$18 million annually.

Mirziyoyev reviewed the production process, inspected finished products and was briefed on the technological solutions used at the enterprise.

During discussions with industry executives and engineers, particular attention was given to expanding localisation, strengthening industrial cooperation and increasing the production of high value-added products.
