Zarrina Abdullayeva becomes President of Gymnastics Federation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Honored trainer Zarrina Abdullayeva was elected as new president of the Gymnastics Federation of Uzbekistan, the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

Prior to this appointment, Abdullaeva was the head of the sports center of the Youth Union. In this post, she replaced Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva. In early March, Karimova-Tillyaeva announced that she was leaving this post.

First Vice-President of the Federation Ruslan Mustayev and Secretary General Gozella Filipova left their posts.
